Frigidaire WF3CB Puresource3 Refrigerator Water Filter

The Frigidaire PureSource 3TM ice and water filter system is tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for the reduction of claims. Certified to reduce contaminants and keep great tasting water flowing for you and your family, this filter system makes safe water a second nature. Filters out up to 99% of contaminants, including chlorine taste and odor, particulates class I, cysts, lead, mercury, pesticides, insecticides, bpa, asbestos, pharmaceuticals and more.

The installation process is straightforward: simply slide the new filter into the housing and push until it locks into place. Before installation, always review the use and care guide to ensure proper setup. The filter features a rated capacity of 200 gallons (757 liters) with an indicator light, and its length is 9 inches, distinct from the longer filter ultraWF.

Tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and 401, the Frigidaire PureSource 3 water filter (WF3CB) produces cleaner, better tasting drinking and cooking water, including all dispensed drinking water, as well as the water used to produce ice. It is designed to fit specific Frigidaire side-by-side models manufactured after 2009 that have a water filter located in the back, right top.

To maintain the highest possible water quality, it is recommended to change the water filter every 6 months. The filter is located at the top right side of the fresh food compartment, and it is important to note that it should not be confused with the longer filter ultraWF.
